TabTrade - The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.
That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is solid.
The Software
They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would make the platform set when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for beginners.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. This broker does not.
VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is the area where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at a much wider range.
Does it matter? If you scalp, yes. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That signals what kind of broker this is.
Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard deposit match. You deposit, they add bonus funds. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before you deposit.
